Dr. Ian Segall was born and raised in Toledo, OH, where he attended Sylvania Southview High School. Dr. Segall earned his Bachelor of Science in Public Health from The Ohio State University. After attaining his undergraduate degree, he attended the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Segall then happily returned to The Ohio State University, where he completed his orthodontic specialty training and earned his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Dentistry.
During his residency, Dr. Segall served as chief resident in his final year of the program. Over his three years in training, he completed his research thesis, where he assessed changes to bony structures over time in patients who received dental implant treatment. Dr. Segall was selected to give an oral presentation at the International Association of Dental Research Conference to present his findings.
Dr. Segall is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, Ohio Dental Association, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
When he is not in the office, you can find Dr. Segall rooting for his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Guardians. He loves spending his free time with family and friends, traveling, golfing, fishing, cooking, and trying new restaurants and coffee shops around town. Dr. Segall is very much looking forward to exploring his new home in Cincinnati!
