Dr. Robin Baker grew up in Cincinnati and is proud to serve patients in her hometown. After high school, she attended The University of Toledo and completed her Bachelor of Science degree with honors in biology. While at Toledo, she was also a four-year letter winner in NCAA division one women’s soccer.
After Toledo, Dr. Baker continued her education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, where she graduated magna cum laude with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. To further her foundation in dentistry, she completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. From there, she practiced as a general dentist in San Antonio, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, while her husband was serving in the United States Air Force.
<br/ > She then returned to The Ohio State University to complete her specialty training in the orthodontic residency program. She has published her research on dental esthetics in the premier orthodontic peer-reviewed journal, The American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Additionally, in early 2018, Dr. Baker achieved board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Baker is an avid soccer player and enjoys anything that involves being active and outdoors, photography, and spending time with her family. She and her husband Andrew have a daughter, Emma, and two sons, Will and Logan.
Dr. Baker has been involved in organized dentistry through many organizations, including the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Orthodontists, and has served as the Southwest Ohio Director for the Ohio Association of Orthodontists.
