We probably speak for a lot of people when we say we’re sad to see the holidays go. Time with friends, visiting family and all the wonderful holiday goodies can be tough to part with. That being said, we’re happy to welcome another exciting year! We can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store and wanted to share a few pointers to help get you back into work mode.
If we have one piece of advice to leave you with this year, it’s to go all in! We find that making a list of priorities along with a timeline is a sure-fire way to set yourself up for success. It might even be fun to invite a friend to go on a walk or grab a cup of coffee with to brainstorm ideas.
Health is so important to us and nothing starts the year off better than kicking a bad habit to the curb. There are lots of ways to improve your health such as exercising regularly, getting more sleep or finally quitting smoking. On top of that, your daily dental routine only requires three or four minutes out of your day so there’s no excuse to skip brushing and flossing!
We know being short on time is an issue for many (ourselves included!) so let us introduce you to your new meal-prep best friend: the crockpot. There is nothing better than returning home after a long day of work, welcomed by the smell of your delicious dinner just waiting for you to eat it. The recipe options are endless and simply doing a quick search on Google or Pinterest can supply you with a week’s worth of crockpot dinner ideas!
Most of all, this year we want to stay focused on the positives and be grateful for all the opportunities to come. Every day is a gift, even those tough days at work we all experience every once in awhile. If your work week is especially busy, remember there is always the weekend for fun and relaxation.
We can’t wait for all the wonderful memories 2018 has in store for us. We hope to spend lots of time with our families and maybe make a dent in our extra-long reading list this year!
